Got my last remote CRC contract by applying within hours — on LinkedIn that ‘first 25 applicants’ badge mattered; treat it like triage: stabilize the résumé, then hit submit… Small caveat: many ‘remote’ roles still want quarterly site visits, so @recruiters, please spell out travel expectations upfront — anyone else seeing that trend?

‌‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‌

I’ve had good luck treating those “real-time” postings like a sprint and attaching a 60‑second Loom intro to my application within the first hour; it noticeably increased callbacks for remote CRC roles. Small caveat: scrub any PHI and skip site SOP screenshots in the video.

‌‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌

I started getting quicker callbacks after front‑loading my résumé with the exact systems and certs — “ICH‑GCP, Medidata Rave, Veeva, REDCap” — so the ATS surfaces it. If a post is a few days old, I still apply but also ping the recruiter to confirm it’s live; @ella_rob59’s sprint idea works best if you’ve got a credentials go‑bag ready.

‌‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‌‌

And given how fast those “real-time” posts vanish, I apply through the company site first — my responses beat job boards — and only hit LinkedIn as backup if the req looks like it’ll close soon. @emmthom +1 on speed; I keep a 3‑line note about a protocol deviation I resolved ready to paste so there’s substance beyond the résumé.
